Thank you, popsicles. We put a spin on your favorite summer ice cream and whipped up a creamsicle Vi-Shape® Shake with mango, coconut milk and more. Bonus? It’s loaded with immune boosting vitamin C.
Creamsicle Vi-Shape Shake with Fresh Mango
- 2 scoops Vi-Shape Shake Mix
- 1 cup mango (fresh, chunks)
- ½ tangerine (peeled)
- ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
- 8 oz. light coconut milk OR coconut water
- Ice cubes
DOs & DONT’S of Shake-Making
DO–Measure, measure, measure. Tossing in handfuls of this and dollops of that can add major calories.
DO–Include fiber. A quarter of an avocado or ½ cup of rolled oats keep you feeling fuller, longer.
DON’T–Add juice! You’ll overdo it on the sugar and crash. Opt instead for ice water, skim or soy milk, light coconut milk or coconut water.
In a blender, combine all ingredients until well blended and smooth. Garnish with unsweetened coconut flakes as desired.
