  1. Is it ok to have a ViSalus shake and what looks like a meal as in Tuesday’s dinner or in Saturday’s lunch?
I usually do 2 shakes a day. Friday doesn’t have a 2nd shake scheduled should I just replace a shake with the lunch or dinner meal?

    • Hi Kendra,

It’s really up to you. The benefit of going with the shake versus a meal is you know exactly how many calories you’re consuming and all of the nutrition your body’s getting. You can also find out the exact amount of calories with a certain meal, it’s just not quite as easy with the nutrition aspect. So yes, you could do a shake and a meal like Tuesday’s dinner or Saturday’s lunch, you just want to make sure the meal isn’t too heavy or calorie loaded. You can always replace a meal with a shake since you’ll get all the nutritional value (or more) that you’d likely get from a typical meal. Hope this helps.

  3. Hey There! Thanks for this helpful article. By the way, I hear a lot of people keep on talking about 1800 calorie diet, but I’m not sure if it is really good. Has anyone tried using 1800 calorie diet? I’ve heard some unbelievable things about ViSalus and my friend lost a lot of weight with it.
