People’s first week at a new company is typically focused on reading the Welcome packet, meeting the staff, and learning the ins and outs of the corporate workflow.
Not so for Jaca Collins.
On her first day as a Promoter for ViSalus, Jaca was already calling people and challenging them.
“I was drawn to ViSalus because of the whole transformation nature of the company; I mean, what’s the point of having wealth if you also don’t have your health? As soon as I tasted the Vi products, I really, really, REALLY liked them!” says Jaca. “And so, it was easy and natural for me to pick up the phone, tell people about The Challenge and inspire them to transform their lives. Everybody said ‘yes’ except for one person!”
Three days later, Jaca had become a Rising Star, and by the week’s end, she had enrolled 5 new Executive Promoters to the Challenge.
“I’ve always had the mindset to challenge myself to go beyond what’s expected of me,” she says. “And now, my mindset is to enroll at least 10 by the end of the month—ideally 20—and then achieve the Ambassador rank before next March.”
Jaca’s mindset has already proven to be quite lucrative. For example, in that first week, she became the biggest qualifier for ViSalus’ Holiday Bonus Bash. Her immediate payoff: more than $2,800 from the Promoter pool.
“Before ViSalus, it would have taken me at least several weeks to have earned what I made my first week at the company,” says Jaca. “Working really hard to achieve a goal is all about your mindset. We can control our own thoughts. Just put the fear away, pick up a phone and challenge people. If they say ‘no,’ then no big deal. There are tons of people on this planet whose lives need to be transformed.”
Jaca, a proud mom of three children, is already making her mark in Georgia. And, she’s excited about it. Very excited.
“First of all, I have the best sponsor on the planet—1-Star Ambassador Jefferson Green,” she says. “I’m also getting a ton of text messages from people wanting to become healthier. For example, I had some ladies over to my place today, and we’re doing our Challenge video together. Their goal is to get into complete shape by Valentine’s Day, and we’re helping each other with that.”
Jaca is also using her Holiday Bonus Bash paycheck to help other people—and one person, in particular.
“I love the idea that what has been given to me enables me to pay it forward,” she says. “My daughter’s school teacher recently had a fire at her house and is now living in a hotel. I plan to use my earnings to help her out and give her a nice gift. I mean, isn’t that what the holidays are all about?”
