Project 10™ Kids is a programme that gives the Vi Community an opportunity to share the benefits of good nutrition and healthy living with the next generation. We’re proud to have donated nearly five million nutritious meals, drinks and snacks to kids across the globe. And as we grow, so too do our giving efforts. Vi now works with various charities across the UK and Europe to help ensure that as many families as possible receive the nutrients, vitamins and minerals they need to lead healthier lives.
We were thrilled to receive a thank you from one of our Vi Charity Partners, the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank recently.
“Thank you so much for the very generous donation of 200 boxes of Nutra-Cookies,” says Manager Julie Woodhurst. “This donation comes at a particularly welcome time for us as the demand for our food parcels increases month over month.”
The Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank currently distributes more than 950 non-perishable food parcels a month to a range of organisations and professionals who work with vulnerable populations in crisis across the Bradford District.
“Vi has supported our food bank for over a year now and we are extremely grateful for this ongoing support,” says Woodhurst, adding, “We rely entirely on donations from the public and organisations such as Vi to help us aid hungry Bradford District families. In 2014 we provided approximately 10,000 food parcels and we expect this number will rise sharply by the end of 2015. Every donation we receive helps someone who is struggling to put food on the table.”
We couldn’t be more excited to support an organisation doing good on behalf of needy families. With your help we can inspire others on the path to leading a healthier lifestyle. Learn more about Project 10 Kids and give back to a local Charity Partner HERE.
